Prepare for Michael Kors to sort out your wardrobe…
Michael Kors: the man who launched a thousand trends. What he doesn’t know about being ‘In Style’ isn’t worth knowing. From re-packing the American wardrobe time and time again to creating iconic red carpet looks, like Blake Lively’s sixties shift for the CDFA awards in 2014, he’s a man who has constantly remained in style.
Ahead of challenging the designer to a game of what’s ‘in style and out of style’, Joshington Hosts asked Michael Kors about that MK bag trend. ‘As much as I love putting on a fashion show the best fashion show in the world is the street. Particularly when I see people wear the same thing for years, when it’s the grab thing they go for and when they look great, as they do, I kinda say “its ok to pat yourself.” A pat on the back is a great thing.’
It’s good to know that after such a prolific career, the designer STILL gets excited about seeing his designs on the street.

After working with a number of well-dressed ladies, most notably of late, creating Viola Davis’s one shoulder yellow sequin vision at the Golden Globes, it would seem that the designer is not short on muses. But, if he had to pick one? ‘It would be Jackie Kennedy. She was glamorous but at the same time understood simplicity and quality and she was grace under pressure.’ We couldn’t agree more with you MK!
If you are currently stuck in a style rut and want to know what to throw out of your wardrobe, or what you should be investing in next, here’s Michael Kors’ guide to what’s in and out of style…
